On the 9th and 10th of January the COVR project was initiated at a Kick Off meeting.
The meeting was held in Denmark at the Danish Technological Institute and brought together the members of the consortium from five different countries.
During the meeting, the project and the different work packages were presented.
The project aims to provide a single point of access framework for assessing collaborative robot safety, organized around EU directives and standards. COVR exists to significantly increase safety for humans and robots working in shared spaces.
The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
